Take a moment and look down at your feet? What do you see beneath them? Is it carpet, hardwood flooring, tile, snow, grass or mud? How often we walk along our way and never really look down at what we are walking over, except to make sure we don’t trip or slip. When was the last time you thought about the ground on which you walk as being Holy Ground? Do you ever consider that which supports you as something Holy? Take a moment and consider the ground upon which you walk as more than just the floor, the sidewalk or the grass. Think of it as that which gives you all the things you need to live. So if the earth provides that which is necessary for life then why do we continue to treat it as just the ground beneath our feet?
