About Me

My photo
Just an ordinary person trying to discern some meaning and purpose out of life like everyone else on this planet. Life is an adventure that must be lived to the fullest, never taken for granted and experienced with all ones senses.

One year ago today the air was filled with smell of sulphur, the fog that hangs close to the ground was moist and the earth beneath my feet moved. I became so aware of the earth that it was almost frightening. Each day we walk about not giving a whole lot of thought to the ground upon which we walk. It’s just there. But that day creation reminded me of her presence in a most dramatic way. As you view the photograph from Rotorua, New Zealand taken during my trip last year, take a few moments and become fully aware of the ground beneath your feet is alive, very alive!
