About Me

Just an ordinary person trying to discern some meaning and purpose out of life like everyone else on this planet. Life is an adventure that must be lived to the fullest, never taken for granted and experienced with all ones senses.

I love a good story! I especially love listening to an excellent storyteller who engages me in something I otherwise might not give a second glance. Point in case: "Hitler's Holy Relics" by Sidney Kirkpatrick, a book I wouldn't pull down from the library shelf under normal circumstances. However, needing something to listen to while traveling last weekend it was available at my local library. Popping it into the player and beginning the sixteen hour drive I found myself enthralled by this story! Yes, you read it right "enthralled".
This is a great story of the theological motivations that drove the Nazi leadership. Not to mention it's a great mystery of missing Holy Relics, jewels, and gold. Then there is the main character a man named Horn whose personal story adds even more interest! I have to be honest and tell you I probably wouldn't have even finished the first chapter if it hadn't been for the storyteller. Like I said, I love listening to an excellent storyteller.
When was the last time you listened to someone really skilled read or tell a story? It's one of life's simple pleasures, enjoy!
